My name is Demar Nelson, I am a former Seattle gang Leader who is now a strong advocate for change amongst youth and adults. I seek to utilize the gifts God has given me to inspire and break the cultures that have plagued our communities for several generations. I'm currently incarcerated, and from where I'm at I accept the responsibility to rebuild the communities by educating the youth, and being accountable to my past by doing the work necessary to create that change. at one point I was a materialist and violent man, I was a menace to society, I was selfish, I was unaware of what my role and true identity as a man in this world was, today I am a projection of God's image and an asset to wherever I find myself.
